I do prefer the V2 of the backup plugin though, the automatic backups mean I never forget :-)

My blog is hosted on Wordpress unfortunately WP don't allow Plug ins. But thanks for mentioning it.

Nice collection, Vinod! There are a few plugins in this list that I find highly useful for every WordPress user. By the way, there is a question: Are you sure that all the plugins listed in this article work perfectly in WordPress 2.1.2 without breaking anything?

By the way, how do you get the flags, OS and browser to show up in the comments boxes? I've never seen that before.

Great list of plugins and I use several of these myself. However, how many of these are you actually using on your blog? I'm always concerned about page load times so I'm curious what you've found.

This post was done couple of months back. A few have been added and removed these days. Pageload time is definitely affected if you've got more and more plugins. esp. the ones like UTW slows down quite a bit.

This is a nice list. But what I miss is the plugin, that makes "Readers who viewed this page, also viewed:"-list. Can you tell me, what the name of this plugin?
It automatically converts categories names, when cited in posts or pages, into links to the same categories.
It means that if writing an article you cite a category of your blog (for instance “Software“), that word is automatically turned into a link to the cited category.
